First Trust Hospital is registered for 22 beds, with 14 bedrooms, 9 of which are en-suite and 5 rooms have shared
bathroom facilities. Also 2 daycase rooms and 2 modern operating theatres.
In-patient service facilities:
The in-patient bedrooms available to patients include en-suite rooms, Free WiFi and a choice of menus at mealtimes.
The rooms have piped oxygen, suction and nurse-call alarm.
In patients may have one visitor for one hour normally between the hours of 5pm -6pm.
The nurse in charge will use their discretion for any variation on this
Outpatient consultations:
The hospital has an out-patient department containing 5 consulting rooms fully equipped with examination facilities for consultation and investigations. We strive to promote an optimum quality service to all patients in our care, respecting their dignity, privacy and confidentiality at all times, by providing single rooms for consultations and admissions. The consultant having care of the patient will explain the procedure to the patient, alternative treatments, possible complications and recovery issues.
Disabled facilities:
There is wheelchair access to the three consulting rooms on the ground floor.
Car Parking:
There is adequate free car parking available for patients, relatives and visitors.
